UPDATE: In regards to the reply from management on my review. They never tried to resolve the issues. They refused to evict the kid that tried breaking in my apartment. They said "he's only 15, we can't evict him and his mom because he's a minor." So I got my lawyer to review the lease and she recommended contacting corporate and if they didn't respond, I would have a closed and shut law suit. When I told the manager I was going to contact AMC corporate and sue, they called me the next day and said "we've decided to just let you out of your lease". So I blew it off and found a beautiful house in Sandy. I definitely am not struggling with my housing situation so it doesn't make sense why they'd assume that. Dirty con artists. Don't live here. It's dangerous. Just Google the Candlestick Lane and you will find articles in regards to shootings and what not. I genuinely worry about the children living there. Cops are always raiding apartments here because of drugs. Call Midvale unified police and ask them if it's safe, they will tell you the truth. CAUTION: Look at the profiles for the people that left positive reviews. Kind of strange that they only reviewed candlestick and nothing else right? Absolutely horrible. Meth capital of midvale. First off, my apartment was broken into by a 15 year old wanna be thug WHILE MY BABY WAS SLEEPING. On more than one occasion a short little blonde kid tried to sell me drugs asking if I knew anyone looking for "clear". After contacting management they told me they couldn't do anything about it because I couldn't prove it. They also stole my deposit and forged their records. I have my original invoice saying I paid 250$ non refundable and 300$ refundable. They say I didn't put down a deposit because of my credit. In all of my years renting apartments, this is the only place that I've ever had a truly miserable experience at. The management is crooked. Please stay away. Especially if you have kids. It's dangerous. People have been shot here and the police are constantly at the complex. If you are a drug dealer this is the perfect place though! You'll blend right in with the rest of your neighbors! If you enjoy watching domestic violence brawls and hearing women getting beat by their husbands next door, this is a great location as well. If I could give negative stars, I would.

They are terrible! Don't return phones calls and charge extra when you move out. I paid $350 when I moved in. $300 for "deposit" and$50 for application fee. When I moved out 2 of us scrubbed the apt for 3+ hours. It looked better when I left then when I moved in. They called and said I owed $477 for cleaning. When I asked for what she read me a list and costs and it only adds up to $295. She claims they sent me a bill but I never got it so their taking me straight to collections. Calling Gephardt.

Poorest run apartment, ever. No security, had one car hit by a UHAUL while in our parking stall, with the entire front end tore off, the other was keyed up by some drunk kids in the parking lot. Management laughs it off. Neighbor broke into our apartment. Then got pissed when we told him to get out and lied to the management claiming we weren't cleaning up after our dogs. Management then went to charge us $200 for non clean up (even though we had bags and obsessively cleaned up after our dogs). Constant requests for our air conditioner to be fixed was met with a dude who said he's not licensed to replace the freon bt he's going to do it anyway. Never fixed air conditioner, our electricity bill was $300+ a month for it, even with all of our lights and everything but the air conditioner turned off. Claims that our entire carpet had to be replaced due to 'pet odder' even though my dog is a service dog, a poodle and professionally groomed regularly, housebroken (obviously, he's a service dog), and we were in there for less than six months. CONSTANT lies by the management to try and tack on extra fees and fines, but not till we gave our thirty day notice. Then suddenly they were all about fees and fines. MOUSE PROBLEM. HUGE MOUSE PROBLEM, we had constant mouse traps up and were getting a mouse every other day. Roaches. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. PILE OF CON ARTISTS.

I loved that if I needed a repair or anything they were very quick and efficient. I loved the greenery and how well the grass was taken care of. The staff was always professional and fair. Also being so close to get to a freeway is nice. I loved the apt., it was clean, cute and private. N. N. #102

Please save yourself the trouble and Do Not move in here! I started my lease in January, If I wasnt stuck in this lease, I'd have been gone after a month. With utilities I pay almost 1000 for a STUIDIO. EDIT:Since posting this review I'm getting violations and fines almost every day for things that haven't changed all year. I now truly believe the staff is harassing me. Probably based on this review.

I absolutely love living here. The apartments are spacious and nice. Very clean, no pests whatsoever. The office staff is terrific to work with, they are always quick to respond to any problems or concerns. The grounds are well kept by the maintenance staff. They walk the property every morning cleaning up trash. I've never seen anything like that before in an apartment situation. There is security that patrols the grounds at night so it is very safe. The pool and hot tub are clean and well maintained. The laundry area is clean and easily accessible with dozens of washers and dryers so There is never any wait. This place is pet friendly and the office staff even have treats for your fur babies if you go in to visit them. My roommate and I plan on staying here for a very long time.

For how low quality the apartments are, it's pricey. In comparison to other apartment buildings near by it is a bargain...though you get what you pay for of course. The cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom are an old wood grain straight out of the 70's. The appliances are outdated as well. Not much to brag about aesthetically but I wouldn't give it the review I am solely based on the cosmetics of it. The bigger problems would be the management. Twice since the beginning of 2016 we have had our stair wells redone- which is great because they were old and rusted- however the first time our walk-ups were being redone, they regret to inform me that they would be replacing them so when I went to leave my apartment to go to work there were no stairs for me to walk down. I called the management staff and their response was whoops sorry we forgot to let your building know this would be happening. So 4 hours later, I arrived late for my shift at work. Not long after this happened, I received a notice on my door explaining that on the 21st they would be repainting the car ports so from 7am-7pm your car had to be moved out of the carport. So on my day off, on the 21st, I wake up at 6:30 to move my car and find a parking spot in our very limited number of uncovered spaces, and move my car. At 1pm I see that still no one has started painting the car ports and they didn't end up beginning painting until the next day later on the 22nd. I appreciate and respect the fact that management is trying to update the exterior of the apartments and maybe attract more of a variety of tenants but they are very un-organized with how they have gone about doing those updates and renovations. I do like that the apartment building is close to Harmons, VASA fitness, the mall, and many necessities. It is also dog and cat friendly which is a huge bonus and there are definitely enough grassy areas for pets . I believe that once these renovations are done, management will be a little more on top of their game however until that happens it's just not an ideal living situation for me.
