My husband and I were struggling extremely bad trying to find a place that would accept us because of our past. We have turned our life around and just needed someone to give us a second chance at life and CANDLESTICK LANE APARTMENTS gave us that second chance! There are such good people here snd we have felt so welcomed here! So happy we found this place!

Good place to live and good location. Quite neighborhood. If there is something it needs to be fixed, they respond fast and help with that.

I enjoy living here. It’s been a safe and cozy place. Great location to commute throughout salt lake.

I've lived here for 3 years and I have been treated well and respectful by every leasing agent that has entered this property. I love my neighbors and staff on the ground. They make sure we are safe and keep leveled heads when dealing witn irate tenets. I can say, being the only place over lived while in Utah, I do not plan to leave anytime soon. Unless a house falls into my lap. Haha, but I love it here and will not change a thing.

I’ve enjoyed living here. Minor issues get resolved quickly and Karley is awesome and responds quickly to questions and concerns. Love that it’s pet friendly as well.

Karley and her staff are the best! They resolve issues quickly, and they're always friendly. I've lived here for quite some time and have seen different management come and go. Karley and her team are by far the best. It's a major reason why I continue to stay here.

So I’ve been living here a couple months. All the problems I’ve had have been minor and were resolved promptly. Management is very professional and were completely transparent and upfront about pricing. The grounds are attractive and well maintained. I like it a lot.

This is a really nice place to live. Lots to do, swimming, gym and they have nice covered carports. I have been here for almost 3 years and enjoy the close proximity to the freeway and other amenities. The staff are a joy to work with and are very helpful if you need anything. I am here if you have a questions.

I have lived in Candlestick Lane apartments for a year now. I have never had any problems at all. I have a studio, it was clean and has faux hardwood floors, no carpet in my unit, it is an older unit but all appliances work fine. It has a nice walk in closet that I really like. Any issues I have had have been addressed in a timely manner. I walk my dogs late at night on the grounds and its quiet. I have honestly never had any problems or issues. Its been a great place for me and my two furbabies. Planning another year if my rent doesn't go up. Thank you!

They have taken care of me every time I do have an issue. Amber and her staff take the time to accommodate my disability and every need that arises.

Only been at this complex sense November but they are awesome people, quick service from the maintenance team as well as the really do give you that personal one-on-one feel which I always have liked more than just being known as this apartment number, like they've actually spoken me by name which is neat. Also the complex is super clean super well laid out just overall a great place to live if you're looking. Also it's very affordable.

It's a good place to live in family... I have almost a year living here with my wife and baby girl... the staff and maintenance is really attentive in everything I need... They have a tuesday food truck and is really relief when you dont wanna cook... great residence for begin a new home.

I've lived here since June 2003 and have never had any problems or issues. The office staff and maintenance are awesome and Amber is a great manager.

The management is extremely helpful and are always nice. Plus, they are affordable.

Pros: -Affordable. Rent is under $1000/month. -Ample living space -Comes with necessary appliances like a washer and dryer, dishwasher, etc. -Pet friendly -Polite and helpful staff -Pretty outdoor complex with paved walking paths Cons: -Limited parking -Strict towing company -Subpar cleaning. Dust and debris were left behind from former tenants. -Limited storage space -Pet friendly. This is a pro and a con; our allergies have been acting up since we moved in so my wife and I suspect the former tenant had a cat. -When the staff provides free pizza, it’s from Little Caesar’s. Overall for the price, I give this place 4 stars. It’s a decent place to live, especially for the money.

Every time my lease has ended, I have shopped around and decided to stay because their rate increases are low, and I couldn't find a better deal without just renting a room. They are prompt to take care of maintenance needs, and their staff is pleasant. They are pet friendly and have low security deposits. However, they do have a mandatory cleaning fee when you move out. My neighbors have been kind and considerate for the most part, and I have never had any pest or security issues. I also love the beautiful, large trees here.🌳 All of that being said I do think there are a few drawbacks, but many of these just come with living in an apartment complex. The late fees, the fee for breaking your lease, and the fee for moving to a larger or smaller apartment when your lease is up are all completely outrageous. In my opinion, the owners are taking advantage of the people who live here in that way. That's just all apartment complexes though, unfortunately. I also really don't like that they are extremely lax about their employees wearing masks. If that one thing changed I would probably give them 5 stars in comparison to everywhere else I have lived. It really has mostly been a great experience. I will update if anything changes between now and when I move in about a month. I am leaving to buy my own home, not because of the complex.

I've been living here for about 7 months now and I've enjoyed my stay. The front office staff is always a pleasure to work with when I've had any issues and they are very friendly and inviting. Maintenance here has been very good, I have problems fixed very quickly and the crew is very talented and dedicated. The amenities are also nice, just haven't really been able to use the gym or pool much due to covid.

We have been here 7 months and we like it here. No intentions of moving any time soon. The office manager Amber is awesome! Their maintenance personnel are on top of things. I put in a ticket to have something fixed and it was fixed that day! Mike in maintenance makes sure things are done right the first time so they dont have to come back and fix it again. The layout in our apartment is nice. The only down side is people dont pick up after their dogs

I have been living in these residences for almost a year and I must say that together with my family we feel at home, the attention from the staff is excellent, the maintenance staff are attentive to any arrangement, it is very well located (quite central to go Downtown , mall and shops) and as a plus every Tuesday they offer us the option of a food truck (which is a relief for when you do not want to make dinner) ... really if you are looking for it to be your first apartment option, super recommended.

I have lived in the Candlestick Apartments for 5 years April 2021. I would like to say that I really love it here. The covered parking is well lit and there are flood lights that come on just as the sun is setting for the evening. It's a nice quiet neighborhood. The management office team are very nice and easy to talk with. There's a swimming pool that usually opens the Memorial weekend that is always kept clean and tables with umbrellas. It is also surrounded by lounging chairs that is spaced 6 feet for safety. The gym is well kept and has enough equipment for a full body workout. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Candlestick Apartments are in a Great location at a good price! Super close to State Street, the post office and Miidvale Center Trax and bus station. Short train rides to Sandy, Murray and SLC. UTA buses often run up and down State Street and 7800 South, easily accessing 2 Walmarts, banks, credit unions and other important destinations. Modern apartments with lots of green space, trees and a pet friendly quiet environment. The staff are friendly and responsive. In this tight housing market, I’m glad I live in Candlestick Apartments

I’m starting my 8th year at Candlestick and I’ve enjoyed alot. The management is quick to respond to anything you need. I would definitely recommend living here!

I lived in a studio apartment there in 2016-2016. The rates were very fair. The management has always been incredibly kind and professional to me. If I wasn't living so far from work and school, I would totally live there again. They're done even greater work to improve the property since I left there. Almost all the bad reviews come either from Karens who didn't respectfully talked assertively about an issue or won't assume personal responsibility for the issue. Very peaceful. Never had an issue with my neighbors. Keep up the great work Candlestick!

I lived in the studio apartment with my husband for two years between 2016-2018. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. While there were certainly some outdated appliances (which they were in the process of updating when we left), we found the location, layout, and overall environment to be nothing short of cozy and safe. Not to mention, I was so surprised to find a studio apartment that had so much storage AND a washer/dryer hookup. It's been two years since we moved away and I still talk about how much I miss our studio quite often. Highly recommend.

I had a problem with my sliding door locking mechanism, I brought it to the attention of the lead maintenance man and he fixed it in like 5 minutes!?! Very happy with that and I’m sure I will get good maintenance with any further issues that may arise.

I have lived in these apartments on and off for the past ten years or so and this last time, the staff was absolutely incredible. They were extremely accommodating of my move in schedule, they were more than willing to fix any repairs that I needed, and they always had cute things to let us know that they are there and care that we are keeping them in business. For example, one morning they had breakfast for the residents waiting for us as we were leaving the community. I think the great ideas come from Amber and she is fantastic. She is very kind, but still professional, and a great problem solver. Now the apartment itself was pretty decent. I was in a studio and for the price of studios across the Wasatch Front, it was pretty cheap. The layout of the studio was comfortable and everything was working and if it wasn’t, the complex took care of it. The only issue I had with the apartment were the thinner walls. I could hear everything my neighbor was doing, and I’m not sure if it’s because he had surgery to get his elephant feet implanted or not, but that was easily fixed with white noise. The amenities are great. They redid the pool area and gym so everything is much nicer looking. The grounds are kept clean and free from dog poop and cigarette butts. The neighbors mind their own business, unless you want to be a part of the community, then they accept you gladly. This was a great place to live and if I wasn’t getting married, I would have stayed here.

I moved in 9/7/2020. Management and staff are super friendly and willing to go out of their way to help your new home a joy. Maintenance is excellent. Grounds keeping is meticulous. Dog friendly with no problem dogs or dog owners to date. Convenient location. Nice layout. Big trees. Terrific views, make these apartments seem like an old fashioned neighborhood. Quiet. my top favorite is the mail system with securely locked mailbox. Never lost a single mail. The area is safe as well. It’s just really expensive paying $200 to $250 for utilities for only one bedroom.

The gym is simple, but nice, and also clean. The equipment works well. The pool area is absolutely gorgeous, and we're excited to experience a summer here. It is on the expensive side, but they informed us of all the charges we would have before we ever signed on the lease. It's also a pretty good area, with a lot of fun places around. It's also right across the street from the Trax station with easy access.

I do like living here. Every place has its issues but it is how you choose to address them that counts. I am not the only tenant so I am okay with waiting my turn when something needs to be fixed. You have other people around you so it is best to be respectful with noise and smells that enter your living space. There is always room for improvement everywhere you go.

I really only ever communicated with Tony in the office and Cory the maintenance dude. Both very nice. They were very understanding about rent (well Tony. The other lady isn’t too nice, but I only dealt with her once). It was a nice little apartment, wish there were lights. Overall I really didn’t hate living here, and am actually a little sad to leave. Now, i would be lying if I said there wasn’t some things that really sucked living here. if you need something fixed in this place they will not show up for forever. I asked to have a light fixed while we were out of town (considering there are no lights in the living room or master bedroom I was concerned about not having another light) and when we returned it was not fixed. When I called Tony he said that the maintenance people told him they’d already been there to fix it, but he’s put in another work order. Two days passed and nobody showed to fix it. I finally stopped Cory around the complex and asked when he was coming in to fix it, and he said nobody ever even told him it needed fixing. I don’t know who was telling the truth, regardless the communication between staff isn’t very good. Our water heater went out on a Sunday and the “emergency” maintenance line didn’t work. So just make sure you’re really getting them to put in your work orders when you call the first time. Oh, and another thing. I think it’s a little unfair to charge as much when the amenities couldn’t even be used. They started remodeling shortly after we moved in and said it’d be finished by November 2018. It’s still not done and we’ve moved out.

I love this place. they always are keeping it clean and updated. The neighbors are friendly and respectful. Management is making sure that what we needed to be fix is done on time and speedily. I recommend this place.

I think that Candlestick Lane is on the up and up! They are renovating ang putting brand new stairs in... I'm happy with my new stairs :) Lived here for almost 3 months and I feel like I have a home.... Good neighbors, good staff, and things happening all around Definitely a neighborhood with doggies lol, if you hate animals stay out but good experience thus far :)

I was able to see available units including availability dates, once selected, I was able to apply via a secure online application. I was called shortly thereafter by friendly staff to validate my needs. The approval came back very quickly and I was sent a welcome sheet and online lease document by email. I completed that and everything else was just a short list of typical items (Insurance, proof of income, a bill with an address, etc.). It was a grueling tiresome drive from Dallas. The staff were VERY understanding of our fatigue and zipped us right through the formalities once we arrived. Thank you 🙏

great people in the office and maintenance is amazing!!

I've lived here for about 1.5 years and I could not be happier. I live in a little studio, and from the very first time I saw it, I fell in love. The layout was very well thought out, as I have ample storage space, an open kitchen, and walk in closet! The staff here is super friendly and has always been great to work with. There's tons of open parking, and very friendly neighbors. Highly recommend!

I have called in the middle of the night for my heater and he was there within 20 minutes. I feel like I can call the office and they take care of my problems. Amber helped me out and waived late fees for me. It was my first time being late and I just changed jobs. It was hard. Amber worked with me. When I call and get Jessica, she does what she can to take care of my complaint. Thank you for all you girls do for me! I love it here. The apartments aren't brand new but I can't afford brand new. This works for me. I have referred people to move here because they also give me $300 off my rent as a finder’s fee. That helps me a lot too. I really like the neighborhood; how it's not on the main road. Mike and his maintenance staff usually fix any problems the same day I report it. Never had any neighbor problems. Parking is well lit when I come home late, and I never feel threatened. I have been treated with honesty and respect.

I loved that if I needed a repair or anything they were very quick and efficient. I loved the greenery and how well the grass was taken care of. The staff was always professional and fair. Also being so close to get to a freeway is nice. I loved the apt., it was clean, cute and private. N. N. #102

I absolutely love living here. The apartments are spacious and nice. Very clean, no pests whatsoever. The office staff is terrific to work with, they are always quick to respond to any problems or concerns. The grounds are well kept by the maintenance staff. They walk the property every morning cleaning up trash. I've never seen anything like that before in an apartment situation. There is security that patrols the grounds at night so it is very safe. The pool and hot tub are clean and well maintained. The laundry area is clean and easily accessible with dozens of washers and dryers so There is never any wait. This place is pet friendly and the office staff even have treats for your fur babies if you go in to visit them. My roommate and I plan on staying here for a very long time.

I moved in a few months ago and have a positive experience every step of the way. Jesicka is amazing! Its extremely quiet, the pool and and clubhouse are well kept. My apartment is very nice. Any issues I have had regarding maintenance is addressed within hours and fixed the same day. The maintenance staff, Mike and Ronaldo are very polite and helpful.

I've lived here for about 5 months now and my overall experience has been very good. We moved from out of state, specifically 3 thousand miles away and Jesicka who works in the front office was amazing from the very first time i reached out. She made sure settling in was much easier giving me all the numbers I needed for the services, local schools and even pizza places. Jesicka is always smiling and welcoming and offering to help. I recently rented the club house and she personally drove out, on a Sunday, to unlock, open everything up make sure everything was ok and came back that night to lock up. The only issue I've had (my AC unit) was dealt with quickly. They replaced it with a new unit. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is my appliances are very dated. They are clean and work perfectly but just older and I wish were newer and energy efficient. That's my only complaint.

I just signed a year lease and Jesicka in the front office couldn't have been any more helpful. She gave me all the resources I needed to get into my studio quickly and easily. I am impressed with the staff and the grounds which leads me to believe that previous reviews were taken to heart this major changes were made. It's nice to see that Candlestick Apts cares about their residence opinion enough to make these dramatic changes.

I Stayed at Candlestick Lane apartments for almost a year and was very please with the office staff. Especially Jessica!! She was always so glad to see me and she always made me feel like I was part of the community. I'm so grateful for her and the rest of the staff! Thank you all for going above and beyond. :O)

I have the answer to why they are not getting great reviews. I am a current resident about 8 months now and have been very happy here . BUT The Assistant Manager Wendy was a rude unprofessional all the freaking time and she would always have her children running though the office and was always yelling at them. I have no clue how that women got anything done. She treated people like crap. It was hard doing business with her because she was the one with the bad attitude. That was the problem with this place. It was her. They have now got a new Assistant manager Maria and she is so freaking awesome I can't stand it! Amber who is the manager is freaking awesome too. I never really got to deal with Amber because I was always stuck having to deal with Wendy. It was great talking and getting to know Amber and she is great and she makes sure we have what we need and get's things done. I also seen a review that Jessika in the office got a really bad review from someone. I know Jessika and she is not a rude person in anyway shape or form and HAS NEVER given me attitude or if I call with a problem she is on top of it. This lady made her sound bad and evil and that's really not the case. Hate to break it to you but this person was most likely was dealing with Wendy. Jessika does not have a mean bone in her body. Thank you Jessika for always being nice and professional whenever I have needed you. You rock and keep doing what your doing. They even took it as far as saying there are rats that are in the apartment's. Well, Candlestick does sit next to a field where they do come out, I know this because I had to call the office to report one running around last year and they dropped everything they were doing and had it taken care of within minutes. I was shocked. I have seen no one using drugs on the play ground or anywhere. I am out walking the complex all the time. They have hired their own security patrol and they are great. It's not a bad place to live or I won't be here or even wasting my time. The comment made about Bed bugs, no. When you move into your apartment here at Candlestick its bed bug free because they make sure of it. If you got bed bugs it was brought from you or another tenant and not the apartment complex. Let's say that you did move in here and happened to get bed bugs. All you would have to do is call the office and they would be fast on top of it like no other and they would take the cost of helping get rid of the bed bugs. They don't want them here at all. They don't want us living with anything like this just like they would not want it in their homes. I know that bed bugs happen in ANY apartment complex but the office would take care of it. FAST.. The office management made it very clear to me who keeps them in business and would bend over backwards to help resolve any type of issues that may come up. I see another comment that Jessika was helpful when someone reported a mouse issue and clearly stated that they got it taken care of. So you can't tell me they don't take care of us. The maintenance people like Carlos, man they are great and always have a smile on their faces and I trust them in my home if they had to enter for any reason and if I was not home they are welcomed. The whole staff at Candlestick Apartments are very trust worthy and loyal and honest people. Can't say that to a lot of other places I rented from. Please don't read the bad reviews because it's not as bad as they are making it sound. I love it here and have referred someone and they will be moving in soon. You can't please everyone. Any apartment you move to will have it's up's and downs. No one is perfect but they try there hardest to make living here wonderful. Thank you Candlestick apartment's for all you do for our committee and taking care of us like you should. Now that Wendy is gone, I don't see any issues that can't be resolved. This gives them an upper hand by getting rid of Wendy and bringing in Maria. THANKS FOR GETTING RID OF THE PROBLEM. She was worse then any bed bug, rat, mouse that a person would ever come across.

Jessica was very helpful with our roach and mice problem and did everything in her power to resolve the issues we had. She was awesome and I haven't seen a roach or mice since they had our apartment sealed off!

Every single interaction with management has been pleasant. I had a maintenence request which was handled very quickly.

This has been a great place to live. The apartment is awesome and Jessika and the other office people are amazing. It's a quiet neighborhood and the complex is always clean.

I found the place to be rather quaint. I'm looking to move, and went in and asked about their one bedrooms. A lady in the office, I think her name was Jessica was so helpful. She gave me a tour of the grounds, and was more than willing to answer all of the questions that I had. I'll definitely be considering this when my lease is up where I live now.

I have been here a couple of years, I have not had any problems with any of the staff here. I have worked with Jessika on several occasions. I have had questions about the lease and the policies and she has been very direct about what they have needed from me so I can continue to live here. I had a huge issue with my renter's insurance and Jessika contacted my agent and made sure that they had the paperwork they needed. I couldn't get anywhere with my renter's insurance agent. Jessika called him directly and got everything done. what could have been a very frustrating experience was made easier because of her. I have worked with her exclusively and have not had a bad experience, she is professional and knows the policies of candlestick lane very well.

I've been living here for a little over 3 months now. And my boyfriend and I both love it. The appliances are a little outdated and our dishwasher is falling apart. Only other complaint is that the front 2 buildings don't have very much uncovered parking.

I've had my fair share of trouble with past apartment complexes, but I'm happy to say I was satisfied with my experience at Candlestick. The location was good (Trax trips to SLC for the win!), management was the best I've worked with yet (and that's HUGE for me when looking for an apartment), and neighbors were friendly. Apartments are simple, but for this single guy it was just fine to settle into and make home.

Overall my experience was positive. Rent was reasonable for the area and I found my apartment and grounds to be clean, and the staff was always nice from beginning to end and addressed any problems I had immediately.

I never really had any problems during the time I lived here, and the few things I did have break were usually fixed the same day. Being a single girl I’m always worried about crime, but personally nothing ever happened with me, parking was well lit when I came home late, and I never felt threatened. For me this was just a temporary situation until I could finally purchase my condo, but from start to finish I was treated with honesty and respect.
